Electrolytes
Breathable Attire
Visors and Hats
SPF is a Non-Negotiable
Color Shields
Post-Workout Rituals
Summer Court Survival: The Science of Wellness and Tennis Aesthetics
Over the past few months, tennis courts have become the epicenter of a new cultural shift. Tennis is no longer just a sport for breaking a sweat; it has evolved into a practice of abundance—merging mental focus, social resonance, and physical aesthetics.
However, facing the intense heat of the summer season, staying elegant while preserving your health and inner peace requires a smarter, more logical strategy. This isn't just about cooling down after a game; it’s a precise investment in your body's core assets.
Here are 6 essential guidelines for summer court survival, designed to help you live intentionally and keep your flame burning bright and steady.
01 Electrolytes
Sweat takes more than water from you. Adding electrolytes before or after your session is a highly efficient way to regulate fluid balance, prevent cramping, and maintain physical output. It helps your body stay balanced on hot court days so you can play with maximum comfort.
02 Breathable Attire
Choosing your court wardrobe is essentially an exercise in thermal engineering. AGNI shrugs and UV-protective cover-ups are perfect for preventing sunburn and reducing sun exposure, allowing your skin to breathe freely even under the scorching sun.
03 Visors and Hats
Never let blinding glare disrupt your focus. Stay cool with a visor or a pair of tennis sunglasses—small, intentional details that shield your face from heat, optimize your vision, and make summer court days feel a little easier.
04 SPF is a Non-Negotiable
When exercising under direct sunlight, sun protection is an absolute boundary. SPF should be applied every 2 hours. We highly recommend choosing a mineral sunscreen instead of a chemical one; mineral filters are simply better for the skin, easier to reapply, and absorbent without too many added chemicals that might cause endocrine disruption.
05 Color Shields
The color of your apparel plays a major role in temperature control. Choose lighter colors that reflect heat instead of absorbing it, creating a natural shield that keeps both your body and mind refreshed.
06 Post-Workout Rituals
The recovery process after stepping off the court is just as critical as the practice itself.
-
Switch to Loose Clothing: Change into a looser shirt immediately after practice to prevent sweat rashes and clamminess. We highly recommend our raglan tees or relaxed polos for a clean, breezy transition.
-
Gradual Temperature Adaptation: Don’t blast the AC right after you get into your car or walk into a cold space. You want your body to adapt slowly to different temperatures, mitigating headaches or colds caused by sudden thermal shocks. This is where true recovery begins.
